Who Are Bulb?
After meeting in 2016, the founders of Bulb, Hayden and Amit, found issues with the big providers in the old energy industry. With poor service, expensive contracts and lots of inefficient, dirty tariffs, Bulb was created to make a change in the energy sector.
They agreed to change three things about the energy industry, making it cheaper, greener and simpler for customers. With their team now consisting of 550 people based at their office in East London, Bulb have created a fantastic community and become one of the brightest new energy companies.

Bulb Products
For business energy, Bulb has only one tariff, ensuring their customers are always on the best deal. Not only this, but customers can save more than 10% on their energy bills when compared to the average business energy plan.
Bulb’s variable tariff shows the true cost of energy, as when wholesale energy prices go up, they try to limit a price rise, giving 30 days’ notice of any changes. When wholesale energy prices go down, customers get those savings on their energy bills.
Business energy contracts with Bulb are also totally flexible, with the contract lasting as long as you want, with no end dates, renewals or notice periods. The need for negotiating is gone, along with out-of-contract price hikes.
Bulb Green Energy
All Bulb customers help to protect our planet, with the average customer lowering their carbon impact by 3.2 tonnes of CO2 each year. That is the equivalent of 1,590 trees. For an added bonus, each new Bulb customer results in a £2 donation to the Bulb Foundation.
For green energy, each unit of renewable gas or electricity is accredited, meaning Bulb can verify the exact amount of renewable energy they supply. Bulb’s carbon offsets are all verified by the Gold Standard, the Verified Carbon Standard, or the UNFCCC’s Clean Development Mechanism.
Some of Bulb’s carbon-neutral gas is produced from renewable sources, verified by the Green Gas Certification Scheme or Green Gas Trading Ltd.
